I keep a limited store of pictorial quilt kits available for use in conjunction with class instruction. For workshops with a limited time frame, this avoids the time consuming design process and fabric gathering. Kits are optional, but for weekend and week classes, students are expected to have a quilt plan enlarged to actual size and their fabric on hand when class begins. Kits contain a life size plan and sufficient fabric for construction of the quilt top. Kits have been designed for use with most of the techniques discussed in class. Students are encouraged to make their own artistic changes to the design as desired. |
